The question wasn't whether AI could generate a woman. It was whether it could generate presence.

Most early generative work failed here. Technically correct faces, emotionally absent. This piece was a deliberate test of that limit — built for International Women's Day 2025 as a spec project exploring whether the tools had matured enough to carry something real.

Shot across a multitude of images using Flux 1.1 and Ray2, the work was directed not generated. Each frame has a character, a gaze, a place to be. The technology receded. The women stayed.
